The Highlights of 2017
This year Hotel Mousai will host several exciting festivities including themed dinners and special celebrations for important dates such as St. Patrick’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Thanksgiving and the Holidays. In addition, there will be a collection of extraordinary events taking place which will be scattered throughout the months of 2017.

Made in Mexico
As an annual event, Made in Mexico has earned its place on the yearly calendar following its runaway success in previous years. This festive gala will take place near the end of May and features a Mexican Fair filled with crafts, local products and Mexican art in addition to live music and a fashion show. May is also a great time to schedule a trip to celebrate Mother’s Day with special goodies for moms of all ages.
Omakase
This unique event will return to Hotel Mousai in July, during which award-winning guest chefs who focus strictly on Japanese fare will make special appearances all month long. A different guest chef visiting from prominent restaurants in the United States will be featured every weekend in July. During this time, they will present their own distinctive spin on the Omakase experience at Hiroshi Japanese restaurant. Of course, July will also include a spectacular 4th of July celebration that will turn this summer’s vacation into the most memorable of all!
Mexican Arts and Crafts Expo
The entire month of September, Mexico is abuzz with an excitement and anticipation as the country prepares to celebrate its Independence Day on September 16th. Discover for yourself the fascinating traditions of this amazing culture when you visit us in September, during which time you can experience a special Mexican market every weekend that features crafts and local products.
International Gourmet Festival
This coming November, the restaurants at Hotel Mousai and its sister resort, Garza Blanca will be participating again in the city-wide gourmet festival that runs from November 10th thru the 19th. Showcasing the incredible cuisine found throughout Banderas Bay, the Puerto Vallarta Gourmet Festival is a thrilling opportunity to sample some of the most spectacular food on the planet!
Wellness Week
The calendar will be filled with numerous workshops, wellness activities and guest speakers during Wellness Week, which will happen during the first week of December at Hotel Mousai and Garza Blanca.
