Yin Yang Yoga

What exactly is Yin Yang Yoga? It combines two unique elements of Yoga, allowing you to discover stillness and flow. Yin and Yang are the Taoist concepts describing the two relative qualities in everything. Yin is more internal, passive, cooling, and downward. Yang is more external, dynamic, warming, and upward. When you combine both elements into a Yoga class, you awaken a powerful energetic force that aligns you with your seven Chakras and deepens a sense of inner peace.

Yin and Yang are relative, and one cannot exist without another. For example, you can only have a night (Yin) with a day (Yang). The two make up a whole. We often tap into our Yang energy to keep up with our busy lives. However, Yin energy brings us back into balance by slowly working on the joints and deep tissue while calming down our nervous system. Our Yin Yang class perfectly blends slow, quiet, and intentional movements (Yin) paired with active, dynamic sequencing (Yang) to build strength and fitness.
