Hecho en Mexico 2017 (Made in Mexico), which will be taking place at the luxurious Hotel Mousai on the gorgeous Garza Blanca Preserve in Puerto Vallarta this May, is eagerly anticipating the arrival of celebrated chef Bricio Domínguez, who will be joining the cultural event as guest chef.  He will be bringing his own unique perspective on Mexican cuisine to the festival and is sure to win over even the most discerning palates.

Although Chef Bricio Domínguez hails from the city of Toluca in Mexico, he rose to culinary fame in the state of Guanajuato.  In Guanajuato city, he opened the doors to his first restaurant “El Jardín de los Milagros” (The Garden of Miracles), while his second and third restaurants, Nextia and 13 Cielos (13 Skies), were later opened in the charming city of San Miguel de Allende.

A Fusion of Flavors and Aromas

Chef Bricio’s fascination with the culinary arts began as a child and has continued to grow and evolve throughout his life and career.  His innovative ideas and techniques bring forth dishes that feature incredible flavors presented in a visually astonishing manner that has foodies begging for more.  He puts a great deal of care and attention into incorporating the highest quality ingredients in his creations.  While the recipes he has perfected over time contain the traditional essence of Mexican cuisine, they are also perfectly distinctive to his signature style which integrates a variety of global culinary influences, taking the diner on a flavorful journey filled with unforgettable sensations.

The Importance of Family

While Chef Bricio’s culinary expertise and passion for food have been influential on countless people around him, from his kitchen staff to the diners who frequent his restaurants, his sons have been especially touched by their father’s legacy.  They now enjoy carrying on the family tradition by joining their father in the kitchens of his various restaurants.

Hotel Mousai is counting down the days until Chef Bricio brings his superb talents to this year’s Hecho en Mexico event where he will be serving two special menus, showcasing his talents at BocaDos Steak House and Blanca Blue Restaurant:

  • May 19th – BocaDos Steak House
  • May 21 – Blanca Blue
