If you want a vacation which is full to the brim with romance there are a few things you can do, but music should always be a factor. Thankfully, Puerto Vallarta has a wealth of artists and musicians in residence. These talented individuals have flocked here from all over the country in order to live and work in the sunshine. You could get a trio to serenade you in your room, or hire some of the musicians who can be found in the restaurants around the city.
Tequila tasting
Good tequila should be sipped, not shot back like cough medicine, and in Puerto Vallarta you can taste some really good tequila brands! There are plenty of venues around the city which have experiences sommeliers who will be able to talk you through the different tequilas. This will add to the romance of any evening, but there’s a real and present danger that you’ll come away with a few bottles for later.
Piers and Pelicans
There’s nothing that can really compare to watching the sun go down over PV’s Los Muertos pier. You could even hire one of the musicians who walk the beach to provide some ambience while you watch the pelicans plunge.

A day or evening out on the waves of Banderas Bay is great when you are looking to create that unbeatable romantic atmosphere. You’ll have complete privacy out there (except for the presence of the captain, but don’t worry discretion is part of the job) and could even enjoy a gourmet picnic.
