Hecho en Mexico Returns May 2017 at Garza Blanca & Hotel Mousai
Once again Garza Blanca Resort and Hotel Mousai in Puerto Vallarta will be hosting a colorful tribute to Mexico’s art, culture and traditions with Hecho en México (Made in Mexico) 2017.
Puerto Vallarta, March 1st 2017. Garza Blanca Resort and Hotel Mousai located on Puerto Vallarta’s exclusive south shore are excited to confirm that Hecho en Mexico 2017 will be back for a third edition in May this year. The cultural event is set to celebrate all things Mexican starting on Friday May 5th in honor of the Mexican national holiday, Cinco de Mayo which commemorates the Battle of Puebla (Franco-Mexican War from 1861-1867), and continuing throughout May, with a special Mexican Festival being held on Saturday May 20th that is open to both guests at the hotels as well as locals who wish to purchase tickets for the special event.
Garza Blanca Preserve and Hotel Mousai will be inviting guests at the hotels to enjoy an artisan market showcasing fine Mexican products such as wine, cheese, crafts and fine art each weekend throughout May in the Lobby at Garza Blanca Resort & Spa in addition to a special Mexican festival on Saturday May 20th from 6pm until 10pm, which will welcome guest of honor, fashion designer Maria Rosario Mendoza to showcase her Takasami label, as well as Mariachis, a traditional Mexican lasso performer (charro lazo) and dancing horses, amongst other exciting entertainment. Tickets include a delicious Mexican buffet and drinks (adults $650 pesos / Children under 12 $325 pesos).
