Hotel Mousai’s Japanese fusion restaurant, Hiroshi is thrilled to announce that it will be hosting another OMAKASE chef’s table experience this year, offering a delectable Omakase menu every week throughout the month of July and August.  

Omakase Returns to Hiroshi Restaurant

Building on the success of last year’s debut Omakase, this year’s edition is sure to delight foodies with a distinctive dining experience that allows renowned guest chefs to design a multi-course meal which can be enjoyed by both hotel guests and local residents.  Hiroshi will welcome a different talented chef every other week to dazzle the palates of diners with their masterful culinary skills.  

Thursday, Friday and Saturday Evenings in July and August

Omakase is the name for the free-style Japanese dining experience whereby diners give the chef full freedom to serve what he or she is inspired to serve. Every Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening during the month of July 2017, a visiting chef from some of the most prestigious Japanese restaurants in the U.S. will showcase their incredible gastronomic abilities by offering a special Omakase menu with multiple courses. Carlos Leyva, resident chef at Hiroshi restaurant, is looking forward to another round of creative collaborations with the visiting chefs who will lend their own signature flair to Japanese cuisine as they lead the kitchen through their personal interpretation of Omakase.

The approved dates for Omakase 2017 are as follows:

Chef Hiroshi Shima: July 6 – July 8

Chef Mitsuo Endo:  July 20 – July 22

Chef Sunny oH: August 3 – August 5

Chef Oscar Gonzalez: August 17 – August 19

Signature Dishes Included on the Regular Menu

Hiroshi will also be adding a temporary selection of signature dishes to the menu created by the featured chef which will be made available from Thursday through the following Wednesday when the next chef will take the lead.  

Last year’s OMAKASE was a such an amazing success that we are really excited about what this year will bring,” exclaimed Hotel Mousai’s Experience Manager, Miriam Vazquez. “The guest chefs are so incredibly inventive and talented, bringing a wealth of experience and creativity to share with diners as well as sharing their secrets with our culinary team at Hiroshi restaurant.

July 6th until August 29th

This year’s creative exploration of gourmet Japanese flavors will kick off on Thursday, July 6th, 2017 and keep tastebuds begging for more until July 29th, featuring a scrumptious new OMAKASE tasting menu every Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening each week.  Don’t forget, you can sample other temporary dishes throughout the week at Hiroshi, running from Thursdays through Wednesdays as each new chef arrives.
