Get Fit, Get Sassy, Get Well!
The June Wellness 2016 fitness activities will keep your body in great physical shape along with boosting your stamina, adding strength and getting your endorphins racing through your system. If you attend this year’s June Wellness retreat you will be able to use the state of the art gym and the outdoor fitness areas that include basketball, tennis, and squash as much as you want. There will also be an Outdoor Bootcamp added this year with a specialized program to get you into shape. Also, all retreat participants will have access to water toys such as kayaks, paddleboards, and snorkeling gear, and there is also a tour that will take you to the Los Arcos rock formations by kayak or paddle board.
Breathe in, Breathe Out
The June Wellness program also welcomes professional yoga instructors delivering all kinds of yoga styles. The yoga classes will take place at various locations around the jungle preserve, offering vinyasa flow, hatha, kundalini, and ashtanga yoga classes. Just take a minute to imagine a yoga class on a white sand beach, next to a river, by one of the infinity pools, or at the Rooftop that overlooks the clouds. There will also be yoga classes on the Orange Deck beneath the ultra modern orange colored tree.
Time for Stillness
To ensure you have a healthy mind and spirit, you can partake in the meditation sessions that will be offered at throughout the June Wellness retreat. The June Wellness 2016 schedule includes a variety of times where you can meditate and escape into silence. There are group meditations offered and there will be a ZenWalk guide provided too. You can meditate alone on your balcony; while contemplating a Buddha statue; sat at the Orange Deck or at the beach. The choice is yours!
June Wellness is a chance for you to take part in a number of wellness-related workshops where experts and special guests will lead inspiring sessions. Some of the topics that will be covered include: dealing with daily stress and past traumas in your life, how to eat healthier, and how you can improve your life from the inside out. The speakers and professional therapists will not only share their own stories and experiences, they will give you tips and advice, so you can improve your mental, physical, spiritual, and overall well-being.
The June Wellness Retreat is also offering workshops about how to increase your inner and outer beauty. Spa Imagine’s therapists will lead talks on aromatherapy, skin, stress massages, hydrotherapy, and much more.
For us to have a healthy and happy life, we need to learn how to take care of our physical bodies from the inside out. And for that reason we have professional guests to speak on how we can eat healthier as well as a special Japanese Cuisine event that is running alongside June Wellness. Known for being one of the healthiest populations in the world, Japan and its cuisine will be presented at Hiroshi restaurant each week by a top sushi chef from Katana, Sushi, Samba, Bar Masa and Katsuya. You can also sample from the healthy menu that is offered at the other the resort restaurants, which include vegan meals and more healthier options.
