Thursday January 18th. Staff and Managers from all departments at Puerto Vallarta’s first and only 5 Diamond resort joined together beneath the glittering chandeliers of the hotel’s dazzling events space, the Red Room, to welcome Cecilia Bustos González as Hotel Manager. During an informal cocktail reception, Vice-President of Operations for Tafer Hotels & Resorts, Roger Schaaf welcomed the charismatic new hotel manager on behalf of all the staff.
Cause for celebration
It is with much anticipation and excitement that Hotel Mousai welcomes Cecilia Bustos González whose blossoming professional career began in Rooms Division and Sales. With a string of high ranking positions at luxury hotels in Mexico, there are high hopes that she will work her magic to maintain and transcend the high standards at Hotel Mousai for which we have become renowned.

It was clear from Ms. Bustos’ address to all in attendance that she is has equally high expectations of the hotel and is eager to become part of its inspirational tapestry. Her enthusiasm and energy could be perceived from her hypnotic smile and relaxed demeanor throughout the event and when public speaking.
Recognizing talent
Following his welcome speech offering support to Cecilia Bustos González as Hotel Manager, Roger Schaaf took the opportunity to commend the talent at the hotel and the group’s commitment to the career progression of personnel. Following on, it was with great honour that Miriam Vasquez, Experience Manager at Hotel Mousai, announced the promotion of two members of staff at Hotel Mousai. Omar Alonso Canales Perez was promoted from Head Waiter to Manager of the Rooftop while Jose Antonio Torres Durán was promoted from Head Waiter to Restaurant Manager at Hiroshi restaurant.
