Cutting-edge Future

Table of Contents

As Hotel Mousai leads the way for cutting-edge design and lavish pampering, plans continue to create memorable experiences for guests whom we hope will become repeat visitors. As such, Tafer Hotels & Resorts, has launched an international architectural competition to attract the most creative minds to propose an innovative plan for 400 acres of lush tropical land that have recently been purchased by the hospitality group directly adjacent to the Garza Blanca Preserve where Hotel Mousai is located.

Setting the scene

The land, which sits to the south of Hotel Mousai skirts the base of the Sierra Madre Occidental boasting 400 acres of green landscape, including waterfalls and rivers. On the west side, there is a sandy beach facing the Pacific Ocean that joins the current Garza Blanca beach.

Human interaction with nature

While the architectural competition is open to consider all kinds of creative projects, one of the main objectives of the planned development is to create spaces for human interaction with nature as well as creating unique experiences, which may include proposals for an ecological theme park, residential developments, pavilions and so on.

International Architecture competition

The inspiration behind the international architectural competition is to encourage forward-thinking architects and designers to propose the most innovative and creative ideas for the plot of land in a contest that will be judged by a panel of experts. The competition is a way of remaining at the forefront of what is happening in the field of architecture and design as well as thinking outside of the box to create unique and extraordinary experiences for members. The winners of the competition will be announced in February 2017, when we will be able to announce what will be proposed for this breaktaking plot of land.
