Bocados STK, a gourmet restaurant specializing in dry-aged steaks and located on the Garza Blanca Preserve in Puerto Vallarta, has changed its name to Bocados Steak House.
While Bocados Steak House is technically part of Garza Blanca Resort, guests staying at Hotel Mousai also have the privilege of dining there and at each of Garza Blanca Puerto Vallarta’s other signature restaurants too.
Bocados Steak House is a feature restaurant at all Garza Blanca properties in Mexico’s top beach destinations, including Garza Blanca Puerto Vallarta, Garza Blanca Los Cabos, and coming soon to the brand-new Garza Blanca Cancun. All three properties are updating their branding and communications to reflect the new name of the restaurant.
A Piece of History
The flagship Bocados Steak House sits in a magical spot high up in the mountains on the Garza Blanca Preserve. The location is very special because it offers sweeping views of Banderas Bay and the surrounding jungle both from the floor-to-ceiling windows inside the restaurant and from the expansive terrace.
At the time when it was built, the restaurant was a distance away from the other buildings on the property, but since the resort has expanded over the years, Bocados Steak House is now right in the middle of the property, at the base of Tower 4.
Guests of both Garza Blanca and Hotel Mousai have the option to dine here and a wonderful old-style street car transports guests to and from the resort lobby to Bocados Steak House as well as to other locations around the property, including TierraLuna, a brand-new outdoor shopping village and entertainment park.
A Steak-centered Concept
When Bocados STK first opened its doors, it specialized in bite-sized morsels perfect for sharing, but the idea has since evolved. It went from focusing primarily on serving premium cuts of beef, but last year with the addition of a special dry-aging fridge, Bocados Steak House now specializes in dry-aged chops including Cowboy, Bone-In Rib Eye, Rib Eye, New York, and the 30-ounce Porterhouse, perfect for sharing.
Steak is at the heart of the concept for the restaurant, and it is the place where you can go to enjoy melt-in-your-mouth steaks. Dry-aging the meat gives it a stronger, more distinct flavor, and makes it extremely tender.
Although steaks are the foundation of the vision, it is also important to note that the restaurant has a strong focus on fresh ingredients. Locally sourced food is used to prepare healthy salads, fresh fish – including catch-of-the day -, seafood,
flavorful pasta, inventive vegan and vegetarian dishes, and decadent desserts.
A curated selection of craft beers, fine wines, and fruity cocktails made by expert mixologists round out the experience.
An Intimate Atmosphere
Bocados Steak House is cozy with an intimate vibe indoors. For guests who prefer al fresco dining, at night the terrace of Bocados comes alive with flickering torches and live strolling musicians that serenade your gourmet meal and the views are tremendous, offering you a view of the entire Banderas Bay and the vast blue ocean.
During dinner, guests will be treated to personalized attention by the friendly and knowledgeable staff, who are trained on the specifics of the meats and wines served in the restaurant, as well as sauces to go with your meals.
Bocados in Puerto Vallarta offers an all-encompassing breakfast buffet daily between 7:00 am and 12:00 pm and dinner is available between 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm. Dinner reservations are required.
Gourmet Culinary All-Inclusive Plan
As a guest of Hotel Mousai, when you opt for the Gourmet Culinary All-Inclusive Plan you can enjoy unlimited fine dining at Bocados Steak House, Hiroshi, a sensational Japanese Restaurant, the Rooftop, specializing in seafood and international fare, and for breakfast you will adore the smoothies and healthy breakfast menu available at the Terrace.
What´s more is that coming this November 2021, Mousai’s new South Tower will offer two more gourmet restaurants, including DAO for Oriental cuisine and NOI for fine Italian cuisine, as well as a second Rooftop restaurant.
In addition to that, guests of Hotel Mousai can also dine at any of Garza Blanca’s restaurants, which are included in the all-inclusive plan. Blanca Blue is a favorite among them which specializes in innovative Mexican cuisine and offers a wide variety of traditional dishes such as Pork and Tomatillo Stew and Huauzontle Tarts as well as a variety of international fusion dishes such as the Duck Crackling and Mole. There is something on the menu to delight everyone’s palate!
Guests can also dine at Aquazul beach bar & lounge, which is located next to the beach and open daily from 12:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
