On behalf of AAA and CAA members, Mr. Tony Perrone presented Hotel Mousai in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico with the coveted AAA 5 Diamond Award for 2016 in an exclusive cocktail reception held at the hotel’s luxury events space, the Red Room.
On Wednesday February 3rd 2016 in the presence of the hotel’s owner and director, Mr. Fernando González and his family, and Puerto Vallarta’s mayor, Mr. Arturo Dávalos, Hotel Mousai Puerto Vallarta formally received the 5 Diamond rating in a private ceremony attended by leading figures in the hospitality industry from Banderas Bay and key members of staff from Hotel Mousai.
Mr. Tony Perrone, Regional Manager at AAA National, presented the prestigious award, which is the highest and most difficult achievement in hospitality excellence, to Mr. González and his family and Vice President of Hospitality at Tafer Hotels & Resorts, Mr. Carlos Aquino, commending the hotel for being “one of the most exceptional hotels for hospitality experiences in North America.”
Hotel Mousai has won the 5 Diamond Award faster than any other property in Mexico upon opening and is the first and only 5 Diamond rated hotel in the entire state of Jalisco. One of only approximately 120 hotels out of 65 thousand hotels and restaurants rated for 2016 to receive the AAA 5 Diamond Award, Hotel Mousai ranks among less than 0.4 percent of all the properties evaluated to receive the highest rating.
In the ceremony, Tony Perrone complimented what he described as the maximum in “luxury, sophistication and comfort, extraordinary physical attributes, meticulous personal service, extensive amenities, and impeccable standards of excellence,” commending the vision of the hotel’s owner and his family, the commitment of the Tafer Resort & Hotels management team and, most importantly, the staff members who not only demonstrate sophistication and attention to details but also heartfelt hospitality. “They are re-inventing the ‘wow’ factor for even the most sophisticated traveler,” commented Mr Perrone in his speech.
At the same time, Mr. Perrone complimented sister resort Garza Blanca for offering superior services and amenities saying that: “Together these two hotels, as two completely different resort experiences, are leaders in hospitality for Jalisco, for Puerto Vallarta, for Mexico and for all of North America.”
This award comes at an exciting time for Tafer Hotels & Resorts with the launch of two new resorts in Los Cabos and Riviera Maya on schedule for 2017.
