Easter Welcomes Ky Mani Marley to Play in Puerto Vallarta’s Reggae Festival

Love live music? Easter is the time to be in Puerto Vallarta this year as it welcomes Bob Marley’s son, Ky Mani Marley to play at the first Easter reggae festival of its kind in Puerto Vallarta. March 25th at the Flamingos Events Area (behind the Mega Superstore) in Puerto Vallarta’s hotel zone will be an Easter to remember and the first time that a “Marley” has played in Banderas Bay.


Puerto Vallarta Gets into the Groove this Easter

From 4pm until 11pm on Friday March 25th, visitors to Puerto Vallarta are in for a treat as the Puerto Vallarta Reggae Festival hosts a stunning lineup starting with DJ Cossío warming up the crowd with classic reggae tunes and headlined by Bob Marley’s son, Ky Mani Marley and his band. Other reggae bands to play at the Easter reggae festival include Kassiano, Konfrontation Band, La Yaga, Maurice Englishman and the Profile Band, who will perform in front of crowds that are expected to reach 10,000 people.

The Tribune de La Bahia, one of Puerto Vallarta’s most popular local newspapers reports how according to Kassiano, one of the festival’s organizers who will also be performing at the Easter reggae festival, this will be an historic event for Puerto Vallarta as it will be the first time that one of the Marley dynasty have placed in the area.
