Some sassy news for Puerto Vallarta as Mexico’s Tourism Board announces a $6 million dollar investment to attract one of America’s most popular television shows. The next season of The Bachelor will be filmed in Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit.
Vallarta-Nayarit Live it to Believe it!
Just yesterday, the Director of Tourism for Riviera Nayarit spoke about this project as just one of the many that form part of the “Vallarta-Nayarit Live it to Believe it” campaign.
The cast and crew of The Bachelor will arrive to Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit in May and June this year for a 6 week shooting and are set to film in some of the most breathtaking scenery in the area, including the Marietas Islands and around the Los Arcos rock formations in Mismaloya, which can be seen from the suites and restaurants at Hotel Mousai.
Puerto Vallarta is not new to reality TV shows and movies. Last year saw filming of an episode of The Bachelor Canada in Nuevo Vallarta, while just last week, Mexico’s popular show, Mi corazon es tuyo (My Heart is Yours) was filmed in Puerto Vallarta.
What is great about the announcement is that The Bachelor will shoot an entire series in the destination, which will see 25 women try to win the heart of one gorgeous, successful bachelor seeking love.
